Åsa Öhrn

Åsa Öhrn was born in 1966 and lives and works in Stockholm. Early in her career she engaged with themes such as family structures and the experience of being inside or outside various groups. Öhrn has been painting in acrylic and oil for 25 years, but during the past year she has focused on collage, cutting apart other artists’ works (from art books) and creating something new.
At Björkö Konstnod, she will during the weekend of 24–26 July present works produced during her residency period, as well as previously created collages and paintings.
Åsa Öhrn has also taught art at Björköhänget.
