The Residency
Björkö Konstnod (BKN) is situated in two former school buildings in the northern Stockholm Archipelago, where forest and sea converge. The residency is founded on a collective ethos, embracing the idea of “thinking together, learning together.”
The smaller school building provides accommodation for residents, while the larger building functions as a hub for both individual practice and collective exchange. It includes a shared kitchen and living room for communal meals and group activities, as well as a library, a shower room, and four toilets
