BKN – a node for contemporary art

BKN, Björkö Konstnod, is a non‑profit art association located on Björkö in Stockholm’s northern archipelago. We run a residency programme for professional artists. Our vision is to create a place for artistic depth, cross‑disciplinary encounters, and public dialogue – both locally and internationally. Through our residency, we aim to support artists in their processes while contributing to a vibrant cultural life in the local community and the wider region.
