Irina Alter, Ukraine

Irina sought refuge in Sweden to protect her grandchildren from the horror of war, while her daughter remained in Ukraine. She is the founder of the Print For Life project.Irina Alter was born in Kyiv in 1964 and was worked in Kyiv, Odessa, and Moscow.

Following Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, She relocated to Stockholm, Sweden, with her grandchildren in March 2022. Currently, she resides and works in Stockholm.

Irina is a multifaceted artist with expertise in graphic and book graphics, interior design, costume design, and stage makeup. She was actively participated in organise global art projects. Her works are held in private collections in Kyiv, Berlin, and Stockholm. Irina’s favoured techniques include graphics, collage, and installation.
